This materialis chosen for its consistent quality and performance characteristics of notleaching chemicals, staining, corroding or rusting. The inside of our bottlesare finished using an electrolytic charge and dolomitic sand blasting.

Q: Do Hono stainless steel drinkingcontainers have an inner BPA-based lacquer coating like aluminum ones?

Q: What is the “line” I can see insideHono Stainless drinking containers?

A: This is a leadfree, argon gaswelding seam from the construction processes. We use a premium type 304, grade18/8 stainless steel with raw materials testing. The rolled steel sheet isformed into a tube and welded using leadfree argon gas. The stainless tubesthen go through a series of hydraulic expansion and heat-treating processes tocreate the specific model shapes. Finishing of the inner container is done witha combination of dolomitic sand blasting and an electrolytic charge. Unlikealuminum drinking containers, stainless steel is inert and does not require alacquer coating on the inner surface; often these contain BPA.
